Saturday Mindfulness Workshops

On this day, we come together to learn and practice the art of mindful living as a community. The purpose of mindfulness practice is to experience and demonstrate that happiness is possible right here and now. We will learn to get in touch with our inherent capacity for healing and renewal that we usually take for granted in our busy lives.

Dress comfortably, bring a mat and a cushion for the sitting, and a blanket for the deep relaxation. Some cushions and chairs will be available.

Please bring a vegetarian dish to share at lunch, eating utensils and a plate.

We usually offer one or two Saturday mindfulness workshops a month: one all-day and one half-day program. For an all-day program, one may choose to attend only half-day and leave after lunch.

The tuition for an all-day program is $80 ($50 to $70 for those with financial difficulties. Please let us know in advance).

The tuition for a half-day program is $60 ($40 to $50 for those with financial difficulties. Please let us know in advance).

We accept only payments by cash or checks. Credit cards are not accepted at this time.

The Saturday Mindfulness Workshops are held in the Chapel of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, 2709 Hunter Mill Road, Oakton VA 22124 (Google Map).
