Being Solid, Being Free

In the teachings of the Buddha, true happiness is only possible on the ground of solidity and freedom. When we think and worry nonstop, we cannot be free and happy. During this weekend retreat, we will come together as a community to enjoy the nourishing silence, practice mindful breathing, mindful sitting, mindful walking, mindful eating and mindful movements. We will practice being in touch with all the wonders of life in us and around us, such as our healthy hearts, the earth, trees, flowers, birds' singing and sunshine. The community's collective energy of mindfulness will also help us to embrace our thoughts and feelings as they arise, so that we can continue to feel solid and calm. The retreat's atmosphere is one of togetherness, peace and quiet joy!
